Our agency acts as the Agent of the Owner of the Property and accept reservations in that capacity in good faith. Our agency is not responsible for any misdescription of the Property including availability and tariff information. The Property may change and the Tariff may alter before your reservation commences. If the Property is sold or withdrawn from letting before your reservation commences, our agency will use its best endeavours to assist you to find an alternate reservation at a similar tariff. Properties are furnished and decorated to the owners individual taste and standards.

To secure your booking a 50% deposit and $44 non-refundable booking fee must be paid at the time of booking. Payments can be made by Visa & MasterCard (or via cash or direct deposit if booked through EscapesCo directly). A transaction fee of 1.75% applies for card payments.

The balance of your booking is required 30 days prior to check in, or at the time of booking if the booking commences within 30 days. Should the balance not be received in time, your booking may be cancelled and cancellation fee withheld without notice. Access details or keys will not be provided until cleared payment has been received in full.

Credit card details are to be held on file in lieu of a bond. If credit card details cannot be supplied a $500 to $2000 cash bond will be required prior to your stay (bond varies depending on property). The bond balance will be refunded to you within 7 business days of your departure unless withheld to cover any costs from breaching these Terms and Conditions.

The premises are available from 3pm on the day of your arrival and are to be vacated by 10am on the day of your departure. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate early arrivals and late departures, the only way to absolutely guarantee early check-in or late check-out is to book an extra day.

You will be supplied with 2 house keys for your property and remotes where needed on arrival. On departure these keys must be left as per the instructions provided at check in. A replacement charge of $50 per key and $150 per the remote will be charged as necessary. Should you find yourself locked out of the premises we suggest calling Mudgee Regional Locksmith on 0438 774 899 at your cost. Failing this, please contact our team on 0477 215 580 and leave a detailed message. Guests are not to break into the property by any means, any damage as a result of breaching this will be the guests responsibility.

Pet requests must be made and formally approved prior to your booking. We note, any guest found to have any pets, whether inside or out, without approval will be charged $500 per pet. Guests with approved pets acknowledge and agree that any damage, mess, stains, odours, hair, droppings in yard etc will be charged additional cleaning or replacement at cost.

Should a maintenance issue arise during your stay, we will endeavour to contact you by mobile if available. For reasons of safety we reserve the right to enter the property to repair any fault. If a Non Emergency call out is made to one of our staff members after 8pm, a minimum service charge of $50per hour will apply.

Breakages and/or damage not caused by normal wear and tear will be billed to your account upon departure. Please note that it is not our intention to charge for the replacement of a broken glass.

All cancellations or amendments to bookings must be in writing. All cancellations are subject to a $75.00 cancellation fee.

Bookings cancelled more than 28 days prior to your arrival date: will be refunded the deposit paid, less the booking fee and cancellation fee (and any card processing fees).

Bookings cancelled within 28 days prior to arrival date: will be refunded any monies paid less 50% of the total booking value, less the booking fee and cancellation fee (and any card processing fees).

Bookings cancelled within 14 days prior to arrival date: will be refunded any monies paid less 25% of the total booking value, less the booking fee and cancellation fee (and any card processing fees).

Bookings cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival date, no shows or early departures: no refund will be available.

We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances including natural disasters or Covid-19 protocols. No refund will be provided should your property be available and you elect to cancel your holiday.

All advance deposits are accepted on behalf of the current owner of the premises and EscapesCo by McGrath Central Tablelands will not accept responsibility for any decision, action or arrangement of the current or a new owner of the premises, including but not limited to, the sale of the property, withdrawal from rental, the property being rendered uninhabitable, major renovations, a change in the accommodation fee or the alteration of the property in any way prior to your occupation. In the event of advance bookings being cancelled by the owner and/or agent, a full refund will apply. Every reasonable effort will be made to offer alternative accommodation should this occur.

The Property is set up with a ‘starter kit’ of toilet paper and basic amenities. Coles, Woolworths and IGA are located within Mudgee CBD and most offer home delivery services for any additional needs. All properties are supplied with bed linen and bath towels, we recommend bringing beach/pool towels if required. All properties are strictly smoke free and must be kept clean and tidy and free of litter (including cigarette butts) at all times. Additional charges will be incurred if extra cleaning, reinstating of furniture placement or repairs are required and will be charged to the bond held or credit card saved on file.

Some properties do not provide car parking. If car parking is provided the Guest(s) must only use the car parking space(s) allocated to the Property and not interfere with the use of common property by other persons.

No responsibility is taken for any personal items left at the premises during or after departure. Should you request any property be returned by mail, a handling fee of $25 will be charged on top of the postage cost due to the time required to facilitate the return.

The Property is to be used strictly as a residential premise by the Guest(s) and the number of occupants nominated at the time of booking and not for any other purpose or by any greater number of occupants. If guests exceed the number of nominated guests, each additional guest will be charged at $200 per night.

The use of the Property for functions, parties or other like gatherings is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Excessive noise caused by loud music, televisions, partying and loud cars will not be permitted between 9.00pm to 7.00am. Guests will make every possible effort to ensure that they do not cause a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring properties and all by-laws and regulations must be observed. Any guests found to be breaching these guidelines will be immediately terminated from the premises.
